HB Heated Desiccant Dryer
The HB Heated Blower Desiccant Dryers provide constant -40°F /-40°C pressure dew point (optional -100°F / -70°C) to ensure that clean, dry air is delivered to the customer’s point of usage. These dryers incorporate high temperature, non-lubricated switching valves and a solid-state, relay heater control to extend valve and heater element life. A digital controller and NEMA 4 electrics complete the premium characteristics of these dryers.
By using a dedicated air blower and small external heater to regenerate the desiccant beds, HB Heated Blower Dryers (with appropriate high temperature pre and after-filters) remove contaminants that could spoil the customer’s product or manufacturing processes. The HB models conserve energy by using less energy than a heated dryer and by requiring no compressed air to purge the desiccant beds. The switching valves and electrical design provide increased reliability and reduced maintenance while affording safe and simple operation.

Features- Heated Blower design offers the lowest operating costs available with a -40°F/°C pressure dew point while saving valuable compressed air with little to no purge air loss
- Simple, extremely easy and powerful microprocessor controls in a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure with system schematic and indicating lights with Serial Communication available as standard.
- Low Profile Design with standard filters included: both a high efficiency coalescing prefilter and particulate afterfilter. The prefilter is installed upstream of dryer to remove oil and liquid water down to 0.01 PPM (parts per million). The high temperature afterfilter is installed downstream of the dryer to remove 99.95% of all particulates 1 micron and larger protecting the downstream process.
- Solid State Heater Control has no moving parts or heater contactor means a more reliable system. In the unlikely event of a heater failure, there is a selectable heatless backup mode.
